AMD added four new Ryzen Pro desktop chips to its portfolio in September last year with three of them being part of the Ryzen Pro 9000 series. These are processors configured for productivity and targeted towards professionals, so they lack the higher core counts and large amounts of cache that AMD’s gaming focussed chips boast.
