The Bachelorette’s Rodney Mathews Marries Arielle Hermanson in California Ceremony
Rodney Mathews has found his forever love.
The Bachelorette alum had all the right reasons to celebrate as he married Arielle Hermanson during an elegant wedding ceremony in Riverside, Calif. at the Mission Inn Hotel & Spa on Aug. 16.
Rodney and Arielle—who met in 2023—said their “I do’s” in front of 150 of their closest family and friends, per People, including”a few Bachelor Nation OGs,” actor Tre Hale and former Buffalo Bills player Andre Reed.
For his part, the groom and his groomsmen wore traditional black tuxedos, as the bride wore an elegant off-the-shoulder ivory gown with an extended veil.
As for the ceremony, Arielle walked down the aisle to a violin version of Musiq Soulchild‘s “So Beautiful” before exchanging handwritten vows with Rodney.
After the ceremony—officiated by their mutual friend Shawn Wilson—the pair changed into more relaxed looks as they kicked off their reception. Inside the ballroom, guests dined on their choice of chicken, steak or pasta before hitting the dance floor where they danced to tunes played by DJ Sean G.
Though the ceremony was phone-free, guests shared videos from inside the reception including clips of the couple dancing close while serenading each other with Kendrick Lamar and SZA’s “Luther” and the moment Rodney and Arielle cut into their decadent three-tiered wedding cake.
Together, Rodney and Arielle—who legally tied the knot during an intimate ceremony at a Beverly Hills courthouse in July—had the wedding of their wildest dreams.
“We so closely and personally designed our absolute perfect day and we’ve left no stone unturned,” the couple told People in an interview published Aug. 17. “Marriage has been a lifelong dream for both of us since we were children, so getting to have our dream wedding feels like we’ve made it!”
As for their latest roles as husband and wife, the pair—who got engaged in 2024—summed up what being married means to them.
“Spending forever with our favorite person in the whole entire world.” they couple shared. “A lifetime of laughing, adventure, family, and unconditional love.”
