‘I don’t see what I can do!’ Britons hit out after losing Winter Fuel Payment
Pensioners have voiced their frustration over the planned cuts to the Winter Fuel Payment in interviews with GB News.
“Some are struggling, which I think is wrong. I think we should all get it,” one elderly resident said.
Another pensioner expressed their powerlessness over the situation, stating: “I don’t see what I can do. Can’t do anything about it, really. I feel annoyed.”
“I just live on my pension and because I’m fit, I can’t get any benefits,” a third pensioner told the broadcaster.
