Nigel Farage reveals Donald Trump is ‘more confident than he was in 2016’ as US election polls begin to close
Donald Trump’s team is more confident than they were in 2016, according to Reform UK leader Nigel Farage.
Nigel, a long term ally of Trump, spoke to GB News as polls begin to close across America.
The country is deciding between the 78-year-old Republican and Kamala Harris.
Nigel told Ellie Costello and Stephen Dixon that the former president is feeling more confident now than he did the last time he won the election eight years ago.

“Team Trump feels very confident. Perhaps more confident than they were in 2016”, Nigel said on GB News.
“There is definitely a sign out there that the turnout in the urban, rural type areas is big.
“That is where Trump draws most of his strength. Some of the indications show that not as many turned out in the big cities like Philadelphia, for example.
“I think Team Trump are very confident.”

Trump and Harris concluded their election campaigns yesterday in Philadelphia and Michigan respectively.
Both camps concluded their efforts after a dramatic election cycle which saw Joe Biden handing over the reins of the Democrat nomination to his vice president.
Trump has been the subject of two assassination attempts as well as a felony conviction.
After a series of turns, Trump, 78, and Harris, 60, find themselves virtually even in the polls.
Harris has described herself as the underdog of the race, telling a crowd in Philadelphia she was ready to channel her inner Rocky by “climbing to victory”.
“The momentum is on our side,” Harris told a crowd that chanted back, “We will win.”
“Tonight, then, we finish as we started: with optimism, with energy, with joy,” Harris said, predicting one of the closest elections in U.S. history.
Trump led his fourth and final rally after midnight before a packed arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
He promoted his dedication to tackling the border crisis while attacking the economic record of the Biden-Harris years.
