CPS decision to name Martyn Blake branded a ‘wicked and spiteful act’ by former detective

A former Scotland Yard Detective has demanded a public inquiry into the Crown Prosecution Service’s treatment of Sergeant Martyn Blake after the 40-year-old was acquitted of the murder of Chris Kaba.

Blake was cleared on Monday following an extensive trial into the events of September 5, 2022, after Kaba was shot dead during an armed vehicle stop in Streatham.
