New CCTV images released 20 years after student stabbed to death
Detectives have released enhanced CCTV images of a man they believe may be responsible for the fatal attack on a student at a Soho club in 2004.
Police are offering a £20,000 reward for information which may lead them to Camille Gordon’s killer.
The 23-year-old student, who was working part-time as a hostess at the Blue Bunny Club, was stabbed to death on March 1, 2004.
Nearly two decades later, investigators are urging witnesses and anyone with information to come forward.
Detective Inspector Amanda Greig, leading the investigation, said that despite the passage of time, Gordon’s family remain heartbroken and seek closure.
On the evening of the incident, Gordon was working at the club’s entrance when a man approached and entered, paying a £5 admission fee.
He spent time with Gordon in a private area but was unable to pay the full £375 bill, settling for £80 before being escorted out.
The customer briefly returned but left upon seeing a different staff member.
At around 7.10pm, Gordon returned to the club’s door when a man entered and quickly departed.

She then staggered inside, informing colleagues she had been stabbed in the chest.
Despite emergency services’ efforts, she tragically died about an hour later. The Blue Bunny Club, where the incident occurred, offered female company but no sexual activity.
The enhanced CCTV footage shows the suspect entering Piccadilly Circus Tube station shortly after the stabbing.
He was wearing a dark jacket with a prominent Cleveland Indians logo, dark jeans, white trainers, and a baseball cap.
Detectives are also keen to speak with a man who visited Kennington Police Station two days after the murder.
This individual, described as white, about 35-years-old, 5ft 8in tall, with a skinny build, defined cheekbones, and light brown hair, asked to speak to a CID officer about the Blue Bunny Club murder but left before they arrived.
Investigators are urging this man to come forward, as he may possess crucial information about the case.
Detective Inspector Amanda Greig, leading the investigation, said: “It may have been more than 20 years since Camille was brutally murdered, but her family remain just as heartbroken today. They want answers and they want the person responsible for Camille’s death brought to justice – this is something we want too, and we have not given up trying to get that for them.”
She added: “A lot can happen in 20 years, allegiances can change. Maybe you felt unable to talk to us at the time, for whatever reason, but you are now in a position to do so.”
