Andrew Tate in court victory after £10million of assets seized
Andrew and Tristan Tate have landed a major court victory as the controversial brothers continue with their bid to retrieve £10million worth of assets.
Bucharest’s Court of Appeal overturned a previous decision to seize their assets on Monday.
Assets include 15 cars, 14 watches, and 10 buildings and lands located in and around the Romanian capital.
The Tates will have to return to the Court of Appeal at a later date for a decision on how much of their assets they will get back.
Andrew, 37, and Tristan, 35, were both charged during an ongoing sex trafficking probe.
The brothers were arrested in December 2022, with officers seizing several buildings and two luxury homes.
They have been accused of trafficking, rape and organised crime offences.
It was alleged that Andrew and Tristan recruited women on social media platforms and encouraged them to travel to their villa on the outskirts of Bucharest.

Both men have been accused of pretending to fall in love with the women before getting them to work for their business and making them perform sexual acts on webcams.
Six alleged victims have been identified in the case, Romanian authorities have claimed.
The Tates strongly deny the allegations made against them, with Andrew claiming he is a victim of “The Matrix”.
Andrew appears to use the term to describe the powers involved in politics, media and large organisations.
Georgiana Naghel and Luana Radu, who were alleged accomplices of the Tates, were released on house arrest alongside the two brothers last year.
Monday’s court victory comes after the pair lost their bid to return to the UK to visit their sick mother after she suffered a heart attack.
The watches reportedly include two Hublot, three Patek Philippe, one Cartier, three Audemars Piguet, one Akribos, two Rolex, one Ulysse Nardin, and one Breitling.
The car collection ranges from Porsche to BMW, Ferrari to Aston Martin and McLaren to Mercedes.
An eight-bedroom luxury home in Voluntari was also seized by officers.
The Tates would be forced to auction off the assets if they were sentenced for the crimes they have been accused of and were unable to pay the alleged victims.
