Meet the 24-year-old who built ‘Duedoh’ to make travel in new cities easier

Are you traveling to a new city? Are you facing troubles because you don’t know anyone there? Wouldn’t it be great to have a companion? Exactly this thought crossed the mind of 24-year-old Yogendra Naidu from Visakhapatnam.

He founded a new startup called ‘Duedoh’ to connect travelers visiting new places with locals. Whether you are traveling to another town for better medical services, planning a solo trip, or visiting a different city for any other work, this organization will be there to support you.

Duedoh founder Yogendra Naidu spoke to News18 representative Mastan Vali over a phone call and revealed several details. One face many difficulties when visiting completely unfamiliar cities. Everything from finding accommodation to moving around locally becomes a challenge.

To solve these problems, Duedoh arranges local helpers to ensure safe travel and proper coordination for travelers. They are called ‘Dudes’. Through this platform, a wonderful feature is now available to book a ‘Dude’ in advance for help and guidance you might need.

Thanks to the great response from customers, this startup will officially launch its services in the last week of next month, October. In the first phase, these services will be available in Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, and Goa.

The registration process has already started on the official website. You can also register as a Dude. Documents like Aadhaar, PAN, Driving License, and RC are required. Interestingly, even before the launch, two thousand customers are eagerly waiting for these services. Furthermore, 300 men and women have applied to work as Dudes, which shows the craze for this startup.

Based on customer needs, Duedoh has mainly designed four types of packages. To make it affordable even for common people, the basic package starts at just ₹299. Services like Dude Light (from ₹299), Dude Pro (from ₹ 499), Dude Max (from ₹999), and Dude Support (₹5 per minute) will be available. While booking on the platform, customers can see the exact charges clearly and transparently on the screen. travelers can easily choose a package that fits their budget.

Yogendra Naidu started this company with a basic investment of just ₹ 50,000. Utilizing modern technology, the company spends around two to four thousand rupees every month on Artificial Intelligence AI tools. They have succeeded in building technology that helps many people at a low cost.

Currently, a team of nine members is working continuously behind this startup. Seven of them are regular employees, while two work part-time. The surprising part is that none of them are taking any salaries right now.

Working without expecting profits, this team is toiling day and night with the sheer determination to make a great idea successful. We will have to wait and see what kind of impact the ‘Duedoh’ platform will create in the travel sector in the future. Currently, only the website is live, but an app will also be launched soon.
