Demeter Tactical Investments Strengthens Board with Two Senior Appointments

Demeter Tactical Investments (ME) Limited, an investment management firm based in the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), has appointed Dr. Ryan Lemand and Emmanouil Tzannes to its Board of Directors as part of efforts to strengthen its governance framework and support its expanding institutional presence across the Middle East.

The appointments are expected to deepen the firm’s expertise in regulation, asset management, corporate governance, institutional strategy and strategic partnerships as it continues to grow its operations in the region.

Dr. Lemand joins the board as an Independent Non-Executive Director, bringing extensive experience in financial regulation, risk management, portfolio management and board oversight.

Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Neovision Group of Companies, a leading fund-hosting platform, Dr. Lemand previously served as Chief Executive Officer of ADS Investment Solutions, Senior Adviser and Head of Risk Management at the United Arab Emirates’ federal securities regulator, and Lead Portfolio Manager at Fortis Investments, where he managed a €14.6 billion investment portfolio.

A French national, Dr. Lemand holds a PhD in Financial Econometrics from the École Normale Supérieure, graduating summa cum laude. He is also an approved financial professional across several global regulatory jurisdictions, including the Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA), Securities and Futures Commission (SFC), Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF) and the Saudi Capital Market Authority (CMA). He currently serves on the boards of several regulated entities across ADGM, VARA and the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA).

Also joining the board is Emmanouil Tzannes, an international executive recognised for his expertise in institutional strategy, governance, financial sustainability and strategic partnerships across cultural, non-profit and mission-driven organisations.

Tzannes has advised senior government officials and institutional leaders on organisational growth, long-term value creation and innovative funding models while leading strategic collaborations across the Middle East. His experience spans philanthropy, corporate partnerships and governance oversight.

Speaking on his appointment, Dr. Lemand said he was pleased to join the firm’s board at a time when institutional governance and disciplined investment processes were becoming increasingly important.

He noted that Demeter’s systematic and evidence-based investment approach reflects the standards expected by regulators and institutional investors, adding that he looked forward to supporting the company’s governance and oversight framework.

According to him, Dr. Lemand’s extensive regulatory oversight experience across multiple jurisdictions, combined with Tzannes’ institutional leadership and regional partnerships, would enhance Demeter’s long-term growth strategy from its Abu Dhabi base.

The appointments come as Demeter continues to strengthen its governance framework while expanding its operations from the Abu Dhabi Global Market.
