Perhaps no one is enjoying the 2026 World Cup like Jameis Winston.
The Giants backup quarterback attended Norway’s 2-1 win over Ivory Coast in the Round of 32 match at AT&T Stadium in Dallas on Tuesday.
And Winston really got in on all the fun, donning a full Viking costume in the crowd, complete with a horned Viking helmet and faux fur wrap as Norway won its first-ever knockout stage game in the World Cup.
Before the game, Winston led a group of Norwegian fans in the “Viking Row” celebration outside the stadium.
The celebration has gone viral as large groups of Norwegian fans have begun performing the celebration in host cities, including in Times Square in the Big Apple.
The Norwegian national team itself has even begun doing the celebration with fans after each of its wins.
Winston, in his offseason, has served as a World Cup correspondent for Fox Sports during the tournament. Throughout his tenure, he has danced and sung with Colombian fans, gifted a U.S. fan his jersey and carried around a goat named Wesley dressed as Lionel Messi.
In another nice moment, Winston worked with Japanese fans to clean up trash in the stands in Dallas after Japan’s 2-2 draw with the Netherlands in the group stage.
Winston took part in a tradition that began with Japan’s first World Cup in 1998.
With Netherlands supporters, Winston rode in the “Oranje Army Bus,” a unique part of one of the liveliest fanbases in international soccer.
Every match of the FIFA World Cup will air on either FOX or FOX Sports 1. If you don’t have cable, you can take advantage of a DIRECTV free trial to stream it all.
