Hailey Bieber’s 5-Second ‘Claw Clip Bob’ Is Spring’s Prettiest Lazy-Girl Hairstyle

A bob can be a lazy girl’s dream style until it you need your hair out of your face. And while some can work magic with a claw clip, others struggle to avoid lumps and bumps without invoking gels and wax. Sure, slick-back styles have dominated hair trends in the past few years, but they take time to perfect, can damage your hair, and are hardly appropriate for the gym.

Hailey Bieber’s solution to claw clip bumps? Embrace them. On March 7, Bieber proved the claw-clip is gym-friendly during a weight-lifting workout with celebrity trainer Kirsty Godso. Instead of pulling her shoulder-length bob back into a ponytail, she gave herself a middle part before securing the top half of her hair away from her face with a simple black claw-clip. That’s it. That’s the whole style.

While Bieber can hardly be expected to work out the lumps and bumps to get her “ass kicked” by Godso, she let her lay just as naturally when she got dolled up in a chic red polka dot going out top.

In her latest Instagram post, Bieber posed for a series of selfies to show off her latest Rhode launches, but her blush combo wasn’t the only beauty technique we’ll be copying this spring. She seemingly sported the same half-up style that she wore to the gym, though she released a face-framing front piece for an extra feminine touch.

Over on TikTok, she shared her blush and lip routine featuring Rhode’s new spring shades. Using a dual-sided brush, Bieber started by applying her pocket blush in the raspberry pink shade teacup across her cheekbone and the bridge of her nose before adding a touch of candy apple red to the highpoint of the apple of her cheek before blending out. She then used a beige-toned lip shape to outline her lip, which she blurred out with her fingertip before finishing off the look with her peptide lip tint in the new “shimmering warm mauve” shade pretzel.

While it’s possible Hailey Bieber replaced her claw clip from the gym with a couple of bobby pins or barrettes, the process would be just as quick with the same end result: a soft, feminine look that compliments her berry girl makeup routine. And it probably took her less than five seconds.
