33 Products That Will Make You Feel Like You Leveled Up Your Human Existence

$38 dollar setting spray versus an $11 just-as-good setting spray…I know what I’m choosing.

1. A pair of wireless over-the-ear headphones if your heart *wants* Apple’s AirPods Max but your head is like, “Do you have 500 American dollars lying around? Literally, no. Just no.” Appease your pragmatic side (while still honoring your heart’s desires) with these bad boys that have a very similar aesthetic for just about $20.

iJoy is a small business that specializes in headphones and tech accessories.

Promising review: “They’re comfortable, hold a charge really well, and actually work really well in terms of noise cancellation. My daughter can be sitting next to me talking and I can barely even hear her. I almost prefer these in terms of sound quality to my Gen 1 AirPods as well. Easy to charge, easy to pair, very lightweight, and fit is adjustable. I’m very impressed with these headphones!” —Samantha H.

Get it from Amazon for $19.99+ (available in five colors).

2. An alcohol-free “Soft” perfume rollerball made famous on TikTok. If you’ve never tried an oil-based perfume, you can snatch this one up for just $4. Reviewers are *loving* the gourmand, vanilla scent that’s an almost perfect swap for the higher-end $50 Pink Sugar

Promising review: “Like so many, I found this scent on TikTok. I was a bit skeptical at first but finally got around to trying it. First off, this scent smells amazing! Almost every time I’ve worn it, I receive compliments. It has a sweet smell, almost like warm cake or sugar cookies with a hint of lemon. With such an affordable price, I would definitely recommend this to anyone curious about trying it.” —Chrissy

3. toothbrush with extra “flossing bristles” that are 10 times thinner than the regular, firmer ones, so it can get into those hard-to-reach places (like between your teeth and gums) for a super deep clean.

Emma Lord / BuzzFeed

Mouthwatchers is a small business established by Ronald Plotka, DDS, that specializes in antimicrobial toothbrushes designed to get deeper cleans even patients with “great” dental hygiene might miss with traditional brush and floss routines.

BuzzFeed Shopping writer Emma Lord swears by these toothbrushes: “I usually use an electric toothbrush, but I feel like I’m getting a much more satisfying clean from these?? Especially because I tend to get yellow stains between my teeth no matter *how* much I floss, and these bristles seem to actually target that a lot more effectively. I’ve switched to using this in the morning and the electric one at night and definitely see a difference in that area in particular.”

Promising review: “This was another one of my TikTok purchases! I was skeptical, but my kids hate flossing their teeth, so thought this might help in between making them floss. They work amazingly! My kids said they could see and feel a difference on the first use and I agree! They are definitely worth a try! I would suggest not pushing too hard, those tiny bristles really get in there, and if you push too hard, you nights be sore like I was. It felt like after going to a dental cleaning.” —AN

4. MagicMinerals AirBrush Foundation that reviewers in their 30s, 40s, and beyond can’t get enough of because of how effectively it covers redness while *not* sinking into any fine lines. The unique spray-on formula is lightweight and spreads on your skin like butter with the included brush.

Jerome Alexander is a small business that specializes in airbrush cosmetic products.

Emma says, “HELLO — I found this through a recommendation on a Reddit beauty forum for people in their thirties, and I am OBSESSED. I am not very skilled with makeup and was intimidated by the brush factor, but it’s nearly foolproof. This foundation straight-up glosses over my pores and redness and makes my skin look so even-toned and natural that it doesn’t look like I used much foundation at all. It’s a bit price-y compared to brands I used in the past, but I’m still on my first bottle of it, and it’s been three full months. I hope this never stops getting made. It is so lightweight and lovely and has made my makeup routine feel like a TREAT.

Promising review: “Bought this because I saw it on TikTok, and it did not disappoint. I love the lightweight feel of it and how easy it is to build.” —Smickens

Promising review: “I have a big spot of blood vessels in the inner corner of my left eye. I use the expensive lubricant eye drops for moisture — I’ve used Visine, Clear Eyes, you name it. No eye drop has made my eyes look this great. Only Lumify! I was soo happy when I looked in the mirror and saw some beauty in my eyes instead of darkness and redness.” —Angela Leonard

9. Self-heating soothing foot masks with Epsom salts, lavender, and peppermint — perfect for anyone who spends most of their time standing or walking around and can *feel* their feet crying out for help (I’m looking at you nurses, teachers, and servers).

Emma says, “I’m a long-ish distance runner and these were certainly an interesting experience for my feet! You slide them on and after a few minutes feel a tingling, mildly burning (in a good way) sensation. It doesn’t quite numb your feet, but it relaxes them. I kept them on for 30 minutes and then toweled my feet off, and the tingling sensation slowly faded over the next 30 minutes. After that my feet felt very refreshed and relaxed at a time of day when they’re usually aching from all the miles I put in. The whole thing was a mess-free, easy process, and I will definitely keep them on hand for longer run days!”

Amazon, Karly Jacklin / BuzzFeed

Hi, that’s me on the right — your resident desert-dwelling party girl (aka I’m sweating…basically 24/7). And that’s my makeup when I got home from a night out. You can tell I’m being real with you because, as you can see, my lashes and lipstick are clinging on for dear life.

HOWEVER, you wouldn’t be able to tell that my base makeup or eyeshadow had been worn for about ~10 hours at this point because my skin looks…dare I say…perfect? As I mentioned, I sweat a lot, which usually leads to under-eye creasing and my faux freckles disappearing…but not with this spray. I’ve used the Milk Makeup setting spray and Urban Decay’s All-Nighter, which are both considered high-end…and I’m still reaching for this drugstore find every time.

Promising review: “Definitely had the glowy appearance while feeling weightless! Since it was a girls’ night, I came home and went right to bed without removing my makeup. The blush, highlighter, some eye makeup, and brow filler stayed the whole time! Still have the dewy look! This stuff works SO well — will definitely be buying this instead of the Urban Decay Extra Glow, which is triple the price. You won’t be disappointed! Plus, it fits in my purse!” —Sadie
