Woman’s body found half-eaten by her pet pugs after she died in her apartment
A woman’s body was found half-eaten by her pet pugs after lying undiscovered in her apartment for days.
Adriana Neagoe, 34, from Romania, had not been heard from for almost a week when police broke into her home near Bucharest.
They received a call from a concerned relative who expressed concern that Neagoe had not been answering her phone and had not been seen in almost a week.
When officers arrived at the flat in Târgu Jiu, they were shocked at what they discovered.
The 34-year-old’s dead body was found on the floor, and next to it were her two pugs who had partially eaten her corpse.
It is not yet clear how she died but emergency services noted that there were no signs of apparent violence.
An investigation has been opened by the police in order to figure out the cause of the 34-year-old’s death.
When she was found, there were signs of cadaveric lividity – the pooling of blood in the lowest parts of the body after death.
