Teenager fighting for life after horror London stabbing as six arrested – ‘We are terrified!’
A teenager is fighting for his life and six people have been arrested following a stabbing in East London.
Officers from the Metropolitan Police attended to reports of an assault on Hallsville Road near Canning Town station on Saturday shortly after 8.30pm.
A 17-year-old was found with stab wounds at the scene.
The Met Police has confirmed he remains in hospital in a critical but stable condition.
Six people have been arrested in connection with the investigation.
The Met added that a cordon remains in place this morning and officers will remain in the area.
One resident said they have lived in Canning Town for a decade and Hallsville Quarter for four years, telling the Romford Recorder that: “My neighbours and I are terrified.
“We have been pleading for better security for years, yet nothing changes.”
