Teenage girl sexually assaulted twice by stranger on tube as police release CCTV images
The British Transport Police have released CCTV images of a man wanted in connection with two sexual assaults on a teenage girl on the London Underground.
The incidents occurred on Thursday morning when the victim was targeted on two separate trains by the same man.
Detectives are seeking to identify the individual captured in the CCTV footage, believing he may have crucial information about the assaults.
The assaults took place at around 8.15am on Thursday, when the victim was first targeted on a Metropolitan Line train travelling from Finchley Road to Baker Street.
The same man then assaulted the teenager again after she boarded a second train from Baker Street to King’s Cross.
The incidents occurred in quick succession as the victim continued her journey through central London.
Police have released two CCTV images showing a man dressed in a black coat and grey trousers.
Officers believe this individual may have information that could assist with their investigation.
“Do you recognise this man?” the British Transport Police asked in their statement.
The BTP has urged anyone who recognises the man to come forward as soon as possible to aid their enquiry.
