‘Starmer is mad!’ Trump voters savage Labour activists over US election interference row: ‘I laughed at it’

Donald Trump supporters in New York City have given their views to GBN America on Labour activists campaigning for Kamala Harris.

Steve Edginton took to the streets of the Big Apple to learn how MAGA supporters are reacting to election interference after the Trump campaign lodged a complaint.

One told GBN America that Starmer is a “crazy man” and she was therefore “not surprised” to see Labour officials flocking across the pond.

“This is her last attempt to try and get support”, she added. “She is taking anyone who will support her. She knows people are waking up instead of being woke.”

Another Trump fan was less concerned, acknowledging the officials’ need to “do what they have to do”.

“It’s politics”, she added. “Everybody has to do what they think is right.”

One voter said Britain is undergoing a “leftist era” along with the “whole of Europe”.

“You have to wait in lines to get medical care in America. I don’t want that system, I want to keep our system and not adopt a British system which is not working, particularly in medical care.”

A couple spoke to Steve with one branding the Labour supporters “misguided” while her partner hit out at their show of support.

“They should not be doing it. They should not be involved in our politics”, he said.

“But this is the level of the Labour Government. They should stay where they belong.”

The complaint lodged by the Trump campaign called for an investigation into whether had made illegal contributions to the Kamala Harris campaign.

The complaint said: “I write on behalf of Donald J. Trump for President 2024, Inc. to request an immediate investigation into blatant foreign interference in the 2024 Presidential Election in the form of apparent illegal foreign national contributions.”

It cited a LinkedIn post from Sofia Patel, the Labour Party’s head of operations.

The deleted post said: “I have nearly 100 Labour Party staff (current and former) going to the U.S. in the next few weeks heading to North Carolina, Nevada, Pennsylvania and Virginia.

“I have 10 spots available for anyone available to head to the battleground state of North Carolina – we will sort your housing.”

The Prime Minister has defended the activists, saying they are “doing it in their own spare time” and “staying, I think, with other volunteers over there”.

Trump’s de facto campaign manager Susie Wiles has hit out at the Labour Party, branding it “far-left” and has “inspired Kamala’s dangerously liberal policies”.
