Pro-Palestine protesters attack Israel supporter at New York demonstration and spit on Israeli flag
Footage shared online shows a pro-Palestine protester appearing to attack an Israel supporter and spit twice on their country’s flag while shouting profanities during a rally in New York.
One man was left bleeding after his flag was stolen and he was hit in the face.
A video captures the moment the Israel supporter is surrounded by pro-Palestine campaigners, who shove mobile phones in his face and shout abuse.
More people appear to circle the man before he is hit in the face with an object which causes his nose to bleed.
In another incident man, wearing a keffiyeh, is seen in the clip expressing his disdain for Israel, yelling, “Dirty a*s country. I spit on it,” while grabbing his genitalia and adding, “The bottom of my b***s is better than your country.”
Another individual, dressed in a dark tracksuit and wearing a mask, is seen shaking the Israeli flag while also shouting.
A sign in the background reads, “Israel is starving Palestinian children.”
The incident comes amid nationwide protests marking a year since the October 7 Hamas attacks on Israel, which killed 1,200 people and resulted in hundreds of hostages.

In response, Israel’s military actions in Gaza have reportedly claimed over 41,000 lives, according to the Hamas-run health ministry.
Around 2,000 pro-Palestinian marchers gathered at Wall Street on Monday, the New York Post reported.
Another group of protesters at New York University allegedly compared the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and New York Police Department (NYPD) to the Ku Klux Klan.
They reportedly shouted: “NYPD, KKK, IDF, they’re all the same”.
In Los Angeles, a separate protest was carried out where people were heard chanting “Free Palestine” and “Long live the intifada.”
The lead protester yelled: “There is only one solution, intifada revolution!”
On Saturday, a man set himself on fire near the White House where 1,000 pro-Palestine activists.
