Princess Kate ‘has burden on her shoulders’ after ditching ‘hesitant’ image
Royal expert Ingrid Seward has highlighted the “burden” Princess Kate carries in delivering the right message to the public, praising her evolution into a highly professional figure.
Speaking on GB News, Seward noted how the Princess of Wales has transformed from her early “hesitant” public appearances.
“She’s very professional in her delivery and I think she’s so popular. She’s got quite a burden on her shoulders to put across the right sort of message because people really follow her,” Seward said.
The comments come as Kate’s recorded Christmas message is set to air tonight ahead of her Together at Christmas carol service broadcast.
In her recorded message, Kate reveals that Christmas is “one of my favorite times of the year”.

“It is a time for presents, tinsel and mince pies, but it’s also a time to slow down and reflect on the deeper things that connect us all,” Kate says in the message.
She emphasises the importance of stepping away from daily pressures to “live our lives with an open heart, with love, kindness and forgiveness”.
The Princess also reflects on how the Christmas story encourages consideration of others’ experiences and feelings, highlighting the importance of empathy.
The Together at Christmas carol service took place on December 6 at Westminster Abbey, attended by over 1,000 invited guests.
Prince William and the couple’s three children joined Kate at the service, which marked a significant milestone in her recovery since announcing her cancer diagnosis in March.
The event welcomed those who had gone above and beyond for their communities, including families from Southport affected by a tragic incident at a Taylor Swift-themed dance class.
Over 30 Scouts and volunteers from across the UK supported the service, with special responsibilities including candle lighting and photography.
The service featured performances from Paloma Faith, Gregory Porter and Royal Ballet dancers.
Fashion expert Bethan Holt has described Kate’s upcoming Christmas Day appearance at Sandringham as a “huge moment” following her challenging year.
“It’s going to be such a huge moment because the last time we saw her, before we knew anything about her health issues, was last Christmas,” Holt told PEOPLE.
The Princess of Wales is expected to join King Charles and the Royal Family for their traditional walk to St Mary Magdalene Church.
Holt hopes to see “something bold and celebratory” in Kate’s fashion choice for the occasion.
“It would be fun to see her continue with the nod to Diana, maybe in a tartan coat or in a really bright colour,” she added.
