Pay £0 for internet until March 2025 or claim a FREE Apple TV 4K worth £149 in Black Friday broadband deals

If you’ve been with the same broadband provider for a while, Black Friday is a superb time to make a switch and save on your monthly bills. Depending on how long it’s been since you last changed your broadband, it’s very likely that you’ll be able to find a Black Friday deal that lets you cut costs and unlock faster download speeds too.

While there’s no shortage of broadband discounts in the Black Friday sales …there’s only one UK broadband firm that’s decided to do away with monthly bills altogether. Yes, really.

For a limited time, you can switch to Virgin Media and pay £0 for your full-fibre broadband. The generous giveaway lasts for three months — so your first billing month won’t roll around until March 2025.

And that’s not all. Virgin Media will also bundle 3 months of Disney+ at no cost across all of its broadband packages — saving £26.97 on subscription fees, and unlocking thousands of exclusive films, series, and documentaries to stream on your speedy-new Wi-Fi connection over Christmas. Cancel Disney+ anytime during the three-month free trial from Virgin Media and you won’t pay anything to watch everything in the catalogue ad-free.

When your broadband bills do begin next year, Virgin Media prices start from £25.99 per month. For that, you’ll enjoy speeds of 264Mbps — 3.8x faster than the average UK household broadband connection, as measured last year.

Unlock FREE full-fibre broadband and Disney+ in Virgin Media’s Black Friday bonanza

While there’s no shortage of discounts on broadband available this Black Friday, Virgin Media has taken things a step further and removed its price tags completely! Yes, the full-fibre broadband supplier is offering free broadband for 3 months with its full-fibre internet plans. It’s also waived its £35 set-up fee. And anyone who joins its broadband package during the Black Friday sale will also unlock 3 months of Disney+ too, worth £26.97. Sign up today and you won’t face your first monthly bill until March 2025

The small print? Virgin Media isn’t available everywhere, so you’ll need to triple-check that your home is one of the 16 million connected to its fibre-optic cables. If you’re able to get Virgin Media at your address, you’ll struggle to find a more affordable broadband deal for these super-fast speeds.

Another broadband firm with a generous giveaway is Vodafone.

Anyone who signs-up for its Xtra Broadband package this Black Friday will be treated to an Apple TV 4K (worth £149) and three months of Apple TV+ to watch award-winning Apple Original series and films, like Ted Lasso, Severance, Bad Sisters, Silo, The Morning Show, Ridley Scott’s Napolean, CODA, and Slow Horses starring Gary Oldman. Apple TV+ costs £8.99 a month, so this freebie alone is worth £26.97.

Unlock FREE Apple TV 4K and Apple TV+ in Vodafone’s Black Friday giveaway

Upgrade to Vodafone’s Xtra Broadband bundle, and you’ll take delivery of an Apple TV 4K (worth £149) with a three-month subscription to Apple TV+ for free, so you can stream the latest Apple Original movies and shows in 4K HDR and Dolby Atmos. You’ll also benefit from calls to UK landlines and mobile numbers anytime of the day at no extra cost. With no set-up fee, you can switch to Vodafone broadband now

Vodafone broadband relies on cables from BT-owned Openreach, which covers 99% of homes and business in the UK. If you’re able to connect to broadband via BT, Sky Broadband, Plusnet, TalkTalk, or EE, to name a few, then you’ll be able to sign-up for this Vodafone deal at your address.

You can add Vodafone’s Xtra Broadband package onto any of its existing plans, which start from £24 a month for 74Mbps speeds. Suppose Openreach has upgraded your local area to fibre-optic cables.

In that case, we’d recommend paying the extra £1 a month for Vodafone’s 150Mbps download speeds — it’s only £12 extra a year. Still, you’ll benefit from 2x faster speeds than the UK average broadband connection, perfect for streaming Netflix shows, making video calls, sharing snaps on Facebook, downloading software updates, backing up photos to the cloud, the list goes on.

If you want to secure the Apple TV 4K and three-months of Apple TV+ to watch on it, then you’ll need to spend an extra £10 a month for Vodafone’s Xtra Broadband add-on. As well as the new set-top box and free streaming subscription, this adds unlimited calls to any UK landline or mobile number anytime of day or night.

There’s no upfront fee, and Vodafone will ship its latest wireless router with WiFi 6 speeds.

If you want even faster speeds, Vodafone offers 500Mbps speeds for £29.50 a month. That’s a decent deal, although it’s not the cheapest Black Friday deal for that lightning-fast speed.

While it beats many competitors — TalkTalk charges £35 for its Full Fibre 500 package, BT charges £32.99 for its slower Full Fibre 300 plan, EE charges £32.99 per its Full Fibre 300 Essentials plan, Plusnet charges £28.99 for Full Fibre 300 speeds — it can’t quite topple Sky Broadband, which charges just £29 for its Full Fibre 500 speeds. That’s a saving of only 50p a month… but that adds-up over a 24-month contract.

Enjoy ultra-fast 500Mbps broadband at the lowest price with hidden Sky Broadband deal

Sshhhhh, this Black Friday deal isn’t actually visible when you visit the online Sky Store, but we’ve managed to secure a further discount on the Full Fibre 500 broadband deal. Usually £46 per month, Sky Broadband has cut the monthly cost to £33 on its website — but using GB News’ link, you can drop that even further to £29. That heavily-discounted price will be locked-in for the duration of your 24-month contract, saving you £400

Whatever broadband package you pick, the introduction of the One Touch Switch system in recent months is sure to help out. Under this new system, new broadband customers will only need to contact their new supplier to initiate the change. The new broadband firm will handle all aspects of the switch, including terminating the existing contract and organising the installation date for the new broadband supplier.

The streamlined new sign-up process eliminates the need for you to give 30 days’ notice to the existing provider. Not only that, but it removes the stress of trying to sync-up the cut-off date from the old provider to the installation date from the new broadband firm — minimising the time without an internet connection.

Billing and activation dates will now be coordinated between the broadband operators in the background, further reducing the administrative burden.

Best of all, if your new internet provider is unable to connect you on the date agreed, you’ll receive compensation. There’s no need to take action, the money is sent automatically.

Virgin Media and Vodafone aren’t the only companies to kickstart the Black Friday sales ahead of the day itself, which falls on November 29 this time around. iRobot, the brand behind Roomba robot vacuums, has slashed prices by £700, you can secure Sky TV for its lowest-ever subscription fee, EE is offering generous discounts across its full-fibre broadband — and will even pay £300 to get you out of an existing contract, Ninja dropping its award-winning air fryers to below £70, and Surfshark offering 4 months of its VPN for free, to name just a few.
