National Lottery winner becomes millionaire in ‘fantastic’ end to 2024 after bagging EuroMillions jackpot
A lucky EuroMillions ticket holder has scooped up a whopping £1,000,000 jackpot in a “fantastic” end to 2024.
Known only as Mr H from Bedfordshire, the mystery man won the Millionaire Maker draw on November 22, with the details only now being released.
The windfall came as part of a special EuroMillions draw on November 22, which created 100 European millionaires in a single night.
He has become one of over nine million players that win each week in a range of National Lottery Games.
Andy Carter, senior winners’ advisor at Allwyn, operator of The National Lottery, said: “Wow, we are so excited for Mr H, who has landed a fantastic million-pound win. Huge congratulations.”
Mr H is not the only lottery player ending their year on a high following a life-changing win.
Last week, a West Sussex woman became an overnight millionaire after scooping a life-changing prize in the EuroMillions UK Millionaire Maker draw.
The lucky winner, known only as Mrs J, plans to use her newfound fortune to purchase a new home.

Like Mr H, Mrs J won the sum on November 22, and she also banked an additional £2.60 in the draw.
Whilst Mr H played online, Mrs J secured her win through a Lucky Dip ticket, which she purchased via the National Lottery App.
Like many winners, Mrs J chose partial publicity, allowing some details of her win to be shared while maintaining a degree of privacy.

“Wow, we are so excited for Mrs J, who has become a million pounds richer.
“She can now look forward to buying a new home with her winnings. Huge congratulations,” he said.
