In today’s Daily Reflection, Mark from the Church of England in Middlesbrough speaks about a famous psychological experiment about a child being left in a room with marshmallow, challenged not to eat it.

Not all of them were able to outlast the battle against temptation.

Temptation will pass in time. The children were not being urged to resist food for the rest of their lives.

Jesus fasted food for 40 days and drew from his knowledge which God gave to him to allow him to succeed.
