Co-op launches festive snacks and announces return of fan ‘favourites’ ahead of Christmas

Co-op is set to delight customers this festive season with an array of new and returning holiday treats.

The convenience retailer has announced the launch of a brand-new crisp flavour, Irresistible Camembert and Black Garlic, alongside popular festive editions. Mince pie enthusiasts will be pleased to see the return of Co-op’s beloved range, including a zesty new addition.

With some festive items hitting shelves this month, shoppers can begin indulging in these seasonal offerings well before the Christmas rush.

The new Camembert and Black Garlic crisps (150g, £1.75) feature a blend of creamy Camembert cheese, brown butter flavour and black garlic.

They join returning “customer favourites” Turkey Tikka Masala and Pigs in Blanket crisps, both priced at £1.75 for a 150g bag and back by “popular demand”.

The Turkey Tikka variety combines cooked turkey with aromatic spices, while the Pigs in Blanket crisps offer a savoury mix of sausage and bacon flavours.

All three festive flavours will be available in Co-op stores nationwide from October 23.

Co-op customers can also let out some festive cheer as a selection of mince pies lands on Co-op shelves.

The company has put a twist on the classic mince pie with its brand new Irresistible Chocolate & Blood Orange Frangipane Mince Pies (£2.75, four-pack).

These feature blood orange mincemeat with brandy and port, topped with orange and chocolate frangipane sponge, nibbled almonds and a sweet dusting.

This “zesty” addition to the retailer’s mince pie range offers a unique flavour combination for those looking to indulge in a more adventurous seasonal snack.

Those looking for a “classic” can go for Co-op’s award-winning Irresistible All Butter Mince Pies (£2.95, six-pack), back by “popular demand”.

These feature an all-butter pastry filled with mincemeat made from vine fruits, apple, brandy and port, all topped with a “delicately sweet dusting”.
