Aldi shares new unique cheeses filled with fudge, wasabi and more – available for Christmas
Aldi has unveiled a new range of festive cheeses, bringing unexpected flavour combinations to Christmas cheese boards across the nation.
The new Specially Selected collection, available in stores now, starts from just £2.49 and features bold pairings designed to surprise and delight shoppers.
From sweet and creamy to spicy and bold, the supermarket’s latest offering aims to shake up the traditional Christmas cheese selection.
The range includes daring combinations such as wasabi-infused cheddar and fudge-blended Wensleydale, moving far beyond conventional festive fare.
Leading the new range is Aldi’s Specially Selected Wensleydale with West Country Fudge, priced at £2.49 for 200g, which combines tangy, crumbly cheese with buttery fudge sweetness.
The unique blend creates a cheesecake-like flavour profile, perfect for those craving both sweet and savoury notes.
For the more adventurous, the Specially Selected Coastal Cheddar with Wasabi and Ginger (£2.49, 200g) offers a bold new experience.
This innovative creation marries the creamy sharpness of cheddar with fiery wasabi and warming ginger, promising to be a conversation starter at any festive gathering.
The range also sees the return of customer favourite Specially Selected Bombay Spiced Red Leicester with Geeta’s Mango Chutney, priced at £2.49 for 200g.
This vibrant cheese combines warm, aromatic spices with sweet and tangy mango chutney for an exotic twist.
New to the collection is the Specially Selected Coastal Cheddar with Pineapple (£2.49, 200g), offering a mellow blend of sharp cheddar and sweet tropical fruit.
Completing the premium selection is the returning Specially Selected Sheep’s Cheese with Truffle (£3.49, 175g), which delivers a rich, earthy flavour enhanced with luxurious truffle.
To complement the cheese selection, Aldi has introduced a new range of Specially Selected Seasonal Chutneys, priced at £1.39.

The accompaniments come in three distinctive flavours: Spiced Apple & Pear (200g), Fig, Honey & Orange (215g), and Spiced Plum & Blackberry (215g).
These sweet and tangy chutneys have been specially crafted to pair perfectly with every variety of cheese in the collection.
The chutneys offer the ideal balance to the creamy and crumbly textures of the festive cheese range, adding an extra layer of flavour to any Christmas cheese board. The Specially Selected Luxury Cheese Truckle Tower is also on Aldi’s Christmas menu.
This comes as Lidl rolls out its festive cheese range including a Christmas Dinner Wensleydale.
