Biden claims Netanyahu needs ‘come to Jesus’ moment in hot-mic gaffe

Joe Biden has claimed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu needs to “come to Jesus” after yet another hot-mic gaffe.

Blunderous Biden, 81, blamed the media on Friday after he was caught berating Netanyahu, 74, about the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip.

The 46th President made the comments about the Israeli Prime Minister after his third State of the Union address.

He even asked Colorado’s Democratic Senator Michael Bennet to keep what he said confidential.

Biden said: “I told him, ‘Bibi’ — and don’t repeat this, but ‘You and I are going to have a come to Jesus—’.”

A grouchy president was far from pleased when confronted about the comments, telling reporters: “You guys eavesdropping on things.”

Biden initially threw Washington’s weight behind Israel after Hamas launched its atrocious onslaught on October 7.

The attack resulted in 1,200 deaths and around 200 Israelis being taken hostage.

However, amid concern about the impact of his stance on Democrat voters, Biden softened his position.

He is now vowing to use the US military to build a temporary humanitarian pier in Gaza.

Biden also publicly warned Israeli forces more assistance is needed to assist Palestinians residing in the Strip.

The death toll in Gaza exceeded 30,000 earlier this week, Gaza’s Hamas-run Health Ministry has revealed.

Pro-Palestine protesters gathered outside of Congress yesterday ahead of Biden’s pre-polling day pitch.

New York’s Democratic Representative Jamaal Bowman welcomed Biden’s criticisms of Israel but stressed the President needs to go further.

He said: “Yeah, I mean, he was critical of Israel, you know, which is further than I’ve heard other presidents go before.

“But I wanted to hear personally about the starvation.

“Because, to me, that’s the most horrific thing to watch happen.

“Children starving to death; children have starved to death.

“So yes, we’re going to have the port that we’re bringing there, which will bring a lot of humanitarian aid, but, you know, we need an immediate cease-fire now and trucks to come in right now, to stop the starvation right now. Like today.”
