Amazon urgently recalls Stanley travel mugs that pose a ‘risk of burns’

Drinkware company Stanley 1913 has issued a recall of its Switchback and Trigger Action travel mugs.

The Office for Product Safety and Standards (OPSS) notified Britons of the recall and said to immediately stop using the product.

The affected items do not meet the General Product Safety Regulations 2005.

The OPSS said: “The product poses a risk of burns as the lid threads can shrink when exposed to heat and torque, causing the lid to detach during use.”
