National Lottery winners given weeks to secure jackpot as £1m prize goes unclaimed for 148 days
A lucky lottery winner has just over four weeks left to claim their £1million prize from a ticket purchased in the London Borough of Lambeth.
The UK Millionaire Maker ticket was bought on September 3, 2024, with the deadline to claim falling on March 2, 2025.
The prize is one of several unclaimed National Lottery jackpots across multiple games, including EuroMillions, Lotto and Set For Life draws.
Winners must come forward within 180 days of their winning draw to secure their prizes, with the Lambeth ticket holder’s deadline being the most urgent of several outstanding claims.
Another significant unclaimed prize is a £1million Lotto ticket purchased in Sefton on December 7, 2024, with the winner having until June 5, 2025, to claim.
In Sevenoaks District, a Set For Life winner has yet to claim their prize of £10,000 every month for 30 years, totalling £3.6million.
The Set For Life ticket was purchased on October 24, 2024, and must be claimed by April 22, 2025.
The Sefton ticket holder matched five balls and the bonus ball, with the winning numbers being 9, 12, 14, 26, 35, 42 and Bonus 18.

National Lottery rules require winners to come forward within 180 days of their winning draw to secure their prizes.
Players can purchase tickets for £2.50 for EuroMillions draws, which take place every Tuesday and Friday.
The National Lottery also offers other opportunities to win, including Lotto every Saturday and Wednesday, and Set For Life every Monday and Thursday.
The Thunderball draw, which costs £1 per ticket, offers a top prize of £500,000 and takes place on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.
Additional unclaimed prizes include a ticket bought in the Metropolitan Borough of Bury on October 4, 2024, which must be claimed before April 2, 2025.
A winning ticket purchased in the City and County of Swansea on October 18, 2024, remains uncashed, with a deadline of April 16, 2025.
In Thanet, a EuroMillions ticket worth nearly £85,000 from November 5, 2024, is still unclaimed. The winner matched five balls and one star, with a deadline of May 4, 2025.
