Tennis star reveals ‘crazy’ experience of drinking with Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce
American tennis star Frances Tiafoe has shared details of a memorable night out drinking with pop superstar Taylor Swift and NFL tight end Travis Kelce.
The world No. 17 revealed the encounter during an appearance on “The Pivot” podcast with former NFL players Ryan Clark, Fred Taylor and Channing Crowder.
Despite admitting to being “a Beyoncé guy”, Tiafoe couldn’t contain his excitement about the star-studded evening.
The 26-year-old tennis champion, who currently holds three singles titles, described the experience as “crazy” whilst recounting the evening with Swift, who is currently dating Kansas City Chiefs star Kelce.
“I’ve said it in real-time, whoever I’m with, like, Yo, I’m out here taking shots with Taylor Swift,” Tiafoe recalled on the podcast, as reported by the New York Post.
The tennis star was candid about the surreal nature of the evening.
“At the moment I’m like, man, like, this is crazy, she’s the biggest star out here,” he added.

Whilst the exact date of the gathering wasn’t disclosed, Tiafoe’s animated retelling suggested it left a lasting impression.
The gathering also included NFL superstar Patrick Mahomes, with both he and Kelce extending a warm welcome to Tiafoe.
“Then Mahomes and Travis they were like yo, we gotta have you in Kansas City,” Tiafoe shared.
The tennis star expressed his amazement at the invitation, noting they “rolled out the red carpet” for him.
“It’s crazy because playing tennis and being able to reach that many people and people want to meet me and hang out and actually do stuff, those are the things, it’s why you do what you do,” he reflected.

The tennis star continues to make waves in the sport, currently ranked No. 17 in the ATP rankings and looking to build upon his three singles titles in 2025.
Meanwhile, Swift and Kelce recently opted for a quieter celebration to welcome the new year.
The NFL star revealed they avoided parties on New Year’s Eve, as his training schedule required him to attend practice sessions on both New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
Kelce’s focus remains firmly on the field as the Kansas City Chiefs enter the NFL playoffs, pursuing what would be an unprecedented third consecutive Super Bowl victory.
