Meghan Markle’s professional separation from Prince Harry continues as she steps out with her inner circle

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s professional separation continued this week as the Duchess of Sussex stepped out with members of her inner circle on Thursday evening.

The Duchess of Sussex enjoyed a glamorous night out in Los Angeles, attending the launch of a new haircare line at the trendy Gjelina restaurant on Venice’s Abbot Kinney Boulevard.

Meghan, 43, wore a black top paired with wide-legged trousers, completing her ensemble with heels and delicate gold jewellery.

The evening proved to be a lively affair, with the duchess spotted showing off her dance moves as a gospel choir performed at the event.

The event marked the launch of Highbrow Hippie’s new haircare collection, co-founded by Meghan’s trusted colourist Kadi Lee and her business partner Myka Harris.

The Duchess has invested in the brand, which includes supplements and a hair growth serum.

Speaking to InStyle magazine, Meghan praised her longtime friend: “Kadi has a mastery of hair health, and her Highbrow Hippie collection is a perfect reflection of that.

“I am so proud to invest in her as a friend and as a female founder.”

The pair’s friendship extends beyond business, with Lee hosting a belated birthday lunch for Meghan at her salon last summer.

The Duchess was joined at the event by her trusted friends, including hairstylist Serge Normant and makeup artist Daniel Martin.

Normant, who created Meghan’s memorable bridal updos for her royal wedding, is credited with introducing the Duchess to Kadi Lee.

Lee’s impressive client roster includes Hollywood star Julia Roberts, cementing her status in the Los Angeles beauty scene.

Prince Harry was notably absent from the evening’s festivities, though Meghan appeared to be thoroughly enjoying the company of her close circle of beauty industry friends.

Meghan’s investment in Highbrow Hippie comes as she prepares to launch her own lifestyle venture, American Riviera Orchard.

The brand, which was teased on Instagram in March, has filed trademarks covering an extensive range of products.

These include cookbooks, tableware, linens, and various food items from jams to spreads and butters.

The Duchess has already begun promoting the brand, sending out gift baskets containing homemade jams to friends and high-profile individuals.

The venture marks a return to lifestyle branding for Meghan, who previously ran The Tig blog before getting married to Prince Harry.
