Sky Black Friday sale arrives early with lowest-ever price for Sky TV and Netflix, and that’s not all
Sky has kickstarted its Black Friday sale with record-low price tags across some of its television, full-fibre broadband, and mobile bundles. Black Friday doesn’t technically arrive until November 29, but Sky TV has extended the hotly-anticipated annual sale so you’ve got plenty of time to lock-in one of these colossal discounts.
The Black Friday price cuts will last for the full duration of your new contract, so it’s an ideal time to secure a discount for the next 18- or 24-months of television or home broadband.

Of all of the discounts, it’s the Black Friday saving on Sky Stream that’s easily the star of the show.
Sky has slashed the cost of its plug-and-play box to just £19 — down from its usual monthly cost of £28.
For that, you’ll take delivery of the Sky Stream hardware with the Sky Entertainment package. This unlocks access to over 100 live channels not available on Freeview, a vast library of on-demand boxsets from HBO and Sky Originals, and a Netflix Standard with Ads subscription worth £4.99 a month.
Get Sky Stream at the lowest EVER price for Black Friday and save £216
Sky Stream has never been this affordable. For its latest Black Friday, the most recent addition to the Sky TV lineup has been slashed to just £19 a month. That equates to a total saving of £216 over the course of a two-year contract compared to the standard £28 subscription fee. This diddy plug-and-play box arrives with 100 channels not available on Freeview, hours of boxsets from HBO, Peacock, and Sky Originals, and a complete Netflix subscription. Unlike Sky Q, High Definition is included as standard.
If you already have a Netflix subscription, it only takes a few taps to transfer your existing account — with its viewing history intact — over to the Sky Stream bundle. You can top-up the subscription fee if you want to remove adverts or upgrade to the flagship Premium tier with 4K Ultra HD resolution streaming.
As its name suggests, Sky Stream only needs a Wi-Fi or wired internet connection, so there’s no need for an engineer visit or cumbersome satellite dish on the outside of your home to start watching telly.
With built-in voice controls, it’s easier than ever to request on-demand shows like House of the Dragon, Euphoria, The White Lotus, and Succession. New shows coming to Sky TV this autumn include The Penguin, The Day of the Jackal, and Dune: Prophecy.
Unlike older Sky+ HD and Sky Q boxes, Sky Stream includes High Definition (HD) picture quality as standard.
With this record-breaking Black Friday offer, Sky Stream viewers will save £216 over the course of a 24-month contract. That’s the standard across all Sky TV and broadband bundles, following a shake-up this summer.
Sky Stream, which only launched two years ago and offers the same software experience as Sky Glass, has never been this affordable before, making this comfortably the best Sky Stream deal we’ve ever written about.
The Sky Stream Black Friday discount will only around until Decemer 3, so don’t miss out.
If you’re looking to upgrade to a new flatscreen, Sky Glass could be the best choice. This all-in-one 4K TV packs everything found inside the plug-and-play Sky Stream box inside a QLED television with a Dolby Atmos soundbar and far-field microphone array for hands-free voice commands.
With a single power cable, you’ll upgrade your set-up with a new QLED 4K panel, Dolby Atmos sound system, and access to 100+ channels not available on Freeview as well as a Netflix subscription.
When bought from the Sky Store, you’ll be able to take delivery of Sky Glass starting from £14 for the flatscreen. To add the Sky Entertainment with Netflix bundle, which includes access to its exclusive live channels, on-demand boxsets, and Netflix Standard with Ads subscription, you’ll spend the same £19 per month as Sky Stream owners. This is a 24-month contract, or you can spend more for a rolling one-month deal, so you can cancel and customise the selection of channels included on your shiny new flatscreen.
Last month, Sky confirmed plans to stock its Sky Glass televisions in Currys stores nationwide for the first time. To celebrate the partnership, Sky is offering its all-in-one Glass TV with its entry-level telly package — that includes a subscription to Netflix — starting from just £33 a month.
Secure discount on Sky Glass TV with Netflix by avoiding Sky Store
Currys now stocks Sky Glass TVs in-store and online. The all-in-one flatscreen is now available to purchase in 200 stores nationwide, with customers able to see the Smart TV for themselves before taking it home same-day. To celebrate the new partnership, Sky Glass + Sky Entertainment with Netflix drops to just £33 a month until December 3 — beating some of the Black Friday savings on Sky’s own online store!
Sure, it’s a little odd that the best Sky Glass deal is available from Currys and not the Sky Store, but once you’ve taken delivery of this all-in-one flatscreen, your experience will be identical to those who bought directly from the brick-and-mortar Sky Store or ordered online.
The television is available in three screen sizes from 43″ to 65″ and ships in five colours, including Ocean Blue, Ceramic White, and Anthracite Black. Opting for the largest screen size in the Currys Black Friday deal will cost £43 a month. This introductory offer will only be available until December 3, meaning it covers the Black Friday period. It’s available in-store now, and online via Currys.co.uk.
Anyone who registers for Sky VIP — a free loyalty scheme for all television, broadband, and Sky Mobile customers — will be able to claim four months of premium add-ons like Ad Skipping, 4K Ultra HD, and Sky Kids at no cost. That means you’ll be able to fast-forward ad breaks from steamers like ITVX and Channel 4, as well as on-demand content from HBO, like Mare of Eastown, The Night Of, and Game Of Thrones.
Since everything is streamed via a broadband connection, you’ll need a minimum speed of 25Mbps for 1080p High Definition content, increasing to 30Mbps for 4K Ultra HD viewing.
If you need to upgrade your internet speed, Sky Broadband has also slashed prices for Black Friday. The Full Fibre 150 package is now just £27 a month — its lowest-ever price.
With average download speeds of 150Mbps, you’ll benefit from download speeds twice as fast as the average UK home connection, which sits at roughly 69Mbps. Plus, there’s no upfront fee to switch to this 24-month contract.
With the introduction of the new industry-wide One Touch Switch process from Ofcom, broadband customers from any provider will benefit from hassle-free switching to a rival deal. One Touch Switch eliminates the need to contact your current broadbna provider, with the new firm obligated to take care of everything — organising a switchover date, so you’re not left without internet for days.
If something goes awry, you’re eligible for compensation.
Sky Broadband recently introduced 24/7 customer support, so there will always be someone on-hand if you have a question about your new connection, download speed, or the switchover process.
Meanwhile, rival provider Virgin Media has launched its own Black Friday deals, offering three months free access on a range of its full-fibre broadband and television packages.
You can secure Virgin Media’s Biggest Bundle, including Gig1 broadband — that’s 14x faster than the average UK home broadband speed, Sky Sports and Sky Cinema in High Definition to watch on the TV 360 box, for free until 2025.
When your bills restart at the end of the Black Friday offer period, you’ll spend £85 monthly.
