Jake Paul video backfires as boxing fans rage at star for mocking Mike Tyson running – ‘Sad’

Jake Paul has savagely mocked a video of Mike Tyson running as their blockbuster boxing match nears.

There’s now less than a month to go until the showdown, which is set to take place at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on November 15.

With the clash approaching, Tyson has been regularly updating fans.

The 58-year-old, who is one of the best heavyweights of all time, recently shared footage of himself sprinting at full speed in the gym.

Paul, however, has now decided to mock his rival in an advertisement for his new fragrance, W.

The 27-year-old initially starts by sharing the clip of Tyson running before then mimicking his boxing rival.

With his back hunched and arms swinging by his side, he then turns to the camera and says: “Get W.”

The two men have insisted they respect each other but Paul’s decision to mock Tyson is unlikely to please the boxing legend.

A second said: “Bros self aware he’s fighting a senior citizen.”

A third wrote: “He definitely punches better than he runs. He’ll find that out very soon. Lol.”

And a fourth fumed: “Making fun of an almost 60 year old guy who’s gonna knock him out cold.”

Still, who ends up having the last laugh next month remains to be seen.

Paul will enter the showdown as the favourite, despite still being relatively new to boxing – having appeared in his first fight in 2020.

He has won 10 of his 11 professional bouts, with Tommy Fury the only man to get the better of him in the ring so far.

Tyson secured 44 knockouts from his 50 victories during his prime years in the sport, though did require on the back of two losses.

His last pro fight was against Kevin McBride in Las Vegas in 2005, with the Irishman knocking him to the canvas and ending his career.

Meanwhile, former boxing star Tim Bradley has opened up ahead of the fight.

Speaking to ProBox TV, he’s urged Tyson to beat Paul in order to end the 27-year-old’s career.

He also expressed a belief that two-minute rounds, instead of three-minute rounds, will benefit the veteran.

“Mike Tyson, knock his a** out, baby! At first, I thought about it, I was like this is kind of crazy but then I saw the rules,” he said.

“It said knockouts, knockdowns. It’s official, it can happen. Two minutes, that’s going to favour Mike Tyson.

“Two minutes instead of three, no doubt about it. Think about it, two-minute drill.

“He comes out in the first four rounds like he’s always blazing, Mike Tyson, getting him against the ropes, banging him to the body, hitting him with power shots, come on, man.

“He has the potential to knock this man out. You know that the power is the last thing that leaves you. You haven’t seen those little training videos, those aren’t sped up.

“This is Mike Tyson we’re talking about. Two minutes. That’s all it takes. He can get the knockout. Knock Disney Boy the hell out.”
