Jet2 launches two new routes for a beautiful winter break – flights going from 9 UK airports

Jet2CityBreaks has announced the launch of two new destinations for Winter 24/25, expanding its portfolio to include Bratislava, Slovakia and Malmo, Sweden.

It is now offering city and Christmas market packages to these locations, responding to strong demand from holidaymakers seeking new winter getaway options.

Flights to Bratislava will operate via Vienna Airport, with services available from Manchester and Birmingham Airports. Christmas market trips to Bratislava will be accessible from nine UK airports.

Malmo packages, focusing on festive breaks, will be available from Leeds Bradford and Newcastle International Airports, with flights landing in Copenhagen before a short train journey to the Swedish city.

This expansion provides UK travellers with increased choice and flexibility for their winter holidays.

Bratislava packages offer a range of 4-star hotels in the city centre, allowing visitors to explore the capital’s rich culture and history. City breaks are available from October 18, 2024 to May 19, 2025, with twice-weekly flights from Manchester and Birmingham.

Christmas market enthusiasts can book festive trips from nine UK airports, including Bristol, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, London Stansted, and Newcastle International.

Sample prices for Bratislava packages start from £239 per person for a 3-night stay at the 3-star Ibis Bratislava Centrum, departing from Manchester on November 1, 2024.

For those seeking a more luxurious option, a 3-night stay at the 4-star Mamaison Residence Sulekova Bratislava is available from £259 per person, departing from Birmingham on November 8, 2024.

Malmo packages focus on Christmas market breaks, available from November 29 to December 23, 2024. Flights depart from Leeds Bradford and Newcastle International Airports, landing in Copenhagen.

Visitors then take a direct train over the Oresund Bridge to Malmo. Two weekly services operate on Mondays and Fridays. A variety of hotels are available, offering authentic festive experiences in the Swedish city. Malmo’s Christmas markets feature twinkling lights, traditional decorations, and wooden stalls selling seasonal treats and local delicacies.

Sample prices for Malmo packages start from £379 per person for a 3-night stay at the 3-star Scandic Malmo City, departing from Newcastle International on December 20, 2024.

A more upscale option is available at the 4-star Best Western Plus Noble House, priced at £419 per person for a 3-night stay, departing from Leeds Bradford on December 20, 2024.

Jet2CityBreaks’ expansion brings the total number of city break destinations for Winter 24/25 to 10, including Athens, Barcelona, and Paris. Christmas market favourites now include Berlin, Cologne and Gdansk.
