Democrats did ‘everything they possibly could’ to subvert RFK Jr candidacy: ‘He is SO angry!’
The Democrats have made Robert F Kennedy Jr “so angry” after doing “everything they could” to “subvert his candidacy”, it has been claimed.
The 70-year-old independent candidate, who failed his attempt at the Democratic primary race, is reported to be making a keynote speech on Friday as the Democratic National Convention (DNC) continues.
With Donald Trump also set to hold a campaign rally on Friday, speculation is rife as to whether the nephew of JFK will drop out of the race to “join forces” with the Republican candidate.
Kennedy’s running-mate Nicole Shanahan said: “There’s two options that we’re looking at, and one is staying in, forming that new party, but we run the risk of a Kamala Harris and [Tim] Walz presidency because we draw votes from Trump.
“Or we walk away right now and join forces with Donald Trump… and we explain to our base why we’re making this decision.”
Speaking to GBN America, US Journalist John Fund claimed the Democrats “blocked RFK Jr from getting on the state ballots” before he became an independent candidate.
Fund explained: “It’s a marker for how little the Democratic Party, which says that it wants to save democracy, cares about democracy. On the practical level, they have done everything they possibly could to subvert his candidacy.
“If this happens, I think it will be not because RFK likes Donald Trump or particularly thinks that Donald Trump is the solution to America’s problems, but that he is so angry at what the Democratic Party has done to him to force to lot to not allow him a platform to speak to the American people.”
When asked by GBNA host Steven Edginton if Trump will benefit from RFJ Jr dropping out of the race completely, Fund somewhat agreed.

He explained: “On the margins, yes, but I don’t think it makes a big difference. It made a difference in 2016 because third-party candidates were drawing 3 to 5 per cent of the vote.
“I don’t think RFK, since Biden dropped out, was even in that league, I think he was probably going to drop down to two per cent.”
Calling back to the 2000 US Presidential election, Fund revealed that Al Gore would have “become President” if Ralph Nader had not been on the ballot with George Bush.
Fund told GBNA: “But if a state is close enough, Ralph Nader in 2000 proved that by George Bush winning in by 531 votes and carrying the election on the basis of Florida’s votes that George Bush and Ralph Nader won together.
“They won a majority of the vote in Florida. If Ralph Nader had not been on the ballot, Al Gore would have become President. So if a state is close enough, it can make the difference.”
Donald Trump has previously heaped praise on RFK Jr during his election campaign, admitting he would offer him a role in his administration if he was to win the November election.
Trump said of RFK Jr: “He’s a brilliant guy. He’s a very smart guy, I’ve known him for a very long time.
“I didn’t know he was thinking about getting out, but if he is thinking about getting out, certainly I’d be open to it [giving him a job in my administration].”
