Yesterday, in the wake of the Southport riots Prime Minister Keir Starmer announced that there will be a clamp down on criminal and violent disorder.

He revealed that the UK will deploy facial recognition technology, which is already used by some forces, more widely across the country.

This will mean criminals can be targeted, found and brought to justice quickly but some people are unhappy with the technology.
