Netflix ‘not keen’ on Meghan Markle anymore as ‘things go wrong’ for Duchess: ‘Trembling for more and more’

Royal Biographer Angela Levin says Meghan Markle is “trembling for more and more” as the Duchess of Sussex’s relationship with Netflix hangs in the balance.

The Duchess recently broke cover following the announcement of Princess Kate’s cancer diagnosis, as she visited a children’s hospital in Los Angeles.

Speaking to GBN America, Angela Levin said Netflix are “not keen” on Meghan anymore and “lots of projects are falling down” for the royal.

This comes as the Duchess is expected to make a return to the UK with Prince Harry for the Invictus Games, which would be her first visit to the country in almost two years.

In discussion with host Nana Akua, Angela Levin said Spotify is “also not keen” to work with her, after her podcast Archetypes was relaunched with female-owned company Lemonada.

The Duchess is expected to be releasing new Netflix projects this year, which she hinted at during last year’s Variety Gala.

Levin told GBN America: “Lots of things have fallen down – she didn’t get a leading star part in a film, she hasn’t got Netflix very keen on her anymore, and Spotify is not keen either.

“She couldn’t even do that because she was all me, me, me.”

Discussing Meghan’s podcast, Levin claimed she “didn’t let anybody in” and was “not asking interesting people what their lives were”.

Levin explained: “It was was me, me, me she was talking about, and not asking interesting people what their lives were, and instead actually telling them about herself. She Didn’t let anybody in.

“And a lot of things have gone very, very wrong. So she’s gone back to the beginning, because that’s a bit fashionable at the moment, but it’s fashionable among different sorts of women. I don’t think it will work.

“Give it six months and she’ll be on to the next thing. But she’s always trembling for more and more and more and more.”

Discussing Meghan’s time as a working royal, Nana said Meghan was “delusional” and had an “image of Disney princesses in her head, and she thought that everything would just come to her in that way”.

Nana added: “I think she realised it’s a bit harder work than she’s expected. But then why would she want to get back to grifting, which is what is she’s doing?”

Levin responded: “If it was me, I would have gone to the Royal Family and think ‘I need to do two years here to get to know what it’s like, because it’s not how I live’.

“I don’t understand the English Royal Family at all, and after I’ve got it, I’m going to go zoom because they will know that I’ve really understood it all. I think that’s what you have to do.”
